RITA allows Project Managers to define service-providing partners, such as NGOs or other partner organizations, providing services for the Logistics Cluster, and assign users to these service providers. This ensures that service provider users can access only the consignments assigned to their organization within the project.

Create a Service Provider: Project Managers must first define the applicable service provider for the project. Note: The creation of Service Providers is currently performed by RITA administrators. To request the creation of a Service Provider or assignment of a user, contact rita.global@wfp.org. 

Step 1: Go to Maintenance > Project-Based Information and select the relevant project and location group 

Step 2: Go to Service Providers for this Project and create the required Service Provider.

Assign a User to a Service Provider: When registering a service provider user in RITA, the user’s profile must be linked to the appropriate service provider for the project. Note:  The assignment of Service Provider profiles to users is currently performed by RITA administrators. To request the creation of a Service Provider or assignment of a user, contact rita.global@wfp.org. 

Step 1: Go to Maintenance > User Authorization and select the relevant user.

Step 2: Create the appropriate user access and assign the relevant Service Provider profile to the user.

Assign a Service Request to a Service Provider: When accepting a new service request, RITA operators can assign the request to the appropriate service provider by selecting the organization from the predefined list. 

The service request and associated consignment will then be assigned to that Service Provider. Example: In the screenshot below, SRF BDS 1926 is assigned to the service provider “ABC Organization.”

Service Provider User Access: Once a user is assigned to a Service Provider profile, the user will only be able to access consignments assigned to their Service Provider within the relevant project and location group, rather than all consignments available within the project location group.
